At the age of 22, we are searching for who we are in life, where we will want to settle down and call home, what we will be doing for the rest of our lives, and basically how we will challenge ourselves to see if we can make it on our own. I have been jet setting lately to find the place that I will call home at the end of this year, and after my recent trip to NorCal, San Francisco holds a very special place in this striving bloggers heart.
Mix an urban New York environment with the California lifestyle and you will have San Francisco. This was my first trip to San Francisco and I was on cloud 9 the entire time! I stayed one night in the Embarcadero at Hotel Vitale. The location was awesome and so convenient, very close to the boardwalk and all the fun tourist attractions. I was able to walk up Columbus Ave to Lombard Street and over to the Coit Tower, where you can get some remarkable views of the city. The next two nights I stayed at The Ritz Carlton San Fran, and it was damn beyond beautiful. It sat up in Nob Hill, right near all the shopping in Union Square. The hotel greeted you with beverages, towels, and best of all, fortune cookies 🙂
I visited multiple galleries and restaurants that gave me a sense of how much quality of life San Francisco has to offer. I ended my trip up on top of Telegraph Hill on a terrace over looking the sunset on downtown and the bay. The sky illuminated into shades of pinks, purples, and reds, and in that moment San Francisco took over my body and won my heart. its a place filled with beauty at all angles, and if you can get over the walking up and down hills part, then you will absolutely love it too. I am happy to say that I may soon be making my way to The Golden State.
