If you have ever been down to Manhattan’s Lower East Side (LES), you might find yourself feeling swept away in all the New York City culture. The neighborhood has developed into one of the most active neighborhoods in NYC, filled with downtown hipster vibes, colored bagels, and lots of graffiti murals. So, when I heard that Hotel Indigo, a hotel brand that incorporates all their hotels with the neighborhood they are located in, was opening I was thrilled to be apart of it!
Hotel Indigo invited me to come have a nice “staycation” with them to explore the hotel and really just experience what a great piece of property it is. Located down on ludlow Street, with an alternative entrance on Orchard Street, is a massive 26 story hotel with some of the most amazing views of both north and south NYC skylines, and honestly… it won’t get better than that. The entrance is filled with Mr. Brainwash sculptures, which is something nice to admire on your welcome in. Up the elevator to the 14th floor where the main lobby sits with beautiful floor to ceiling windows that have to be close to 30 ft tall. The lobby is filled with beautiful light and lounge area seating with a bar serving food, coffee, tea, beer, and wine at all hours open. Up the stone metal stars is a lounge that will put all lounges to shame by the name of, “Mr. Purple”. Mr. Purple is a day time restaurant, night time lounge that sits on the 15th floor of Hotel Indigo, with a rustic modern feel, it has a great vibe and did I forget to mention on the outside terrace there is a pool, yes… a rooftop pool offering some of the best views that you will get in this city.
My last night ended with the hotel launch event at Mr Purple, where hundreds of people came to enjoy the hotel and see what Hotel Indigo had to offer in the LES. This hotel will be a huge success here in NYC and I can’t wait for the spring season to come so I can visit that beautiful rooftop pool yet again! Below are some images from my stay!
